Delete Your Refill Account
You can permanently delete your Refill account and its associated data directly from within the app - no need to contact support, though you're welcome to email support@refillsync.app if you'd rather we do it for you.
How to delete your account
Open the Refill app and log in.
Go to Settings, then tap My Account.
Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm when asked. This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
Deleted immediately, permanently
Your account (email, password, name), your personal membership/device links to any household you belonged to, and the product analytics tied to your account (userId, householdId, memberId, deviceId). There is no retention period - this data is removed as soon as you confirm.
What's kept
Shared household data
If you were part of a household with other members, the inventory and shopping-list content stays intact for the remaining members - the same way leaving a shared document doesn't erase it for its other editors. Only your personal account and your link to that household are removed.
Records held by Apple or Google
Subscription purchase history, billing transactions, and refund records are controlled by Apple and Google, not RefillSync, and are retained by them for billing and legal compliance even after your RefillSync account is deleted. Manage or view that history directly through your Apple or Google account.
